Hi! I'm Katy Gleavy — an elementary special educator, passionate advocate, and proud mom of two young children. With over a decade of experience in elementary special education, I've worked in diverse settings and leadership roles, supporting students and families with a wide range of needs.
My most important and transformative role, however, is being a mom. Becoming a parent deepened my understanding of neurodiversity and gave me a new skillset to add to my passion — one that now fuels the work I do every day. I’ve sat on both sides of the table: as an educator and now as a parent advocating for my own child.
I created Wildflower Parents to be a compassionate and empowering space for families navigating parenthood and raising confident, resilient kids. Whether you’re looking for support at home with challenging behaviors, help finding more calm in the chaos, guidance through the service maze, or someone to stand with you in school-based advocacy — I’m here.
You're not alone. Let's connect together!
